We are very privileged to have Dr Kathryn Ferry coming to talk to us. She is an historian who specialises in the architectural and cultural history of the seaside. She is co-founder and Chair of the Seaside Heritage Network and a former trustee of the National Piers Society.
 
The meeting will start with tea/coffee at 10.30am followed by the talk at 11am.
 
The Racquet Club is also offering lunch at a special price - 2 courses at £25 and 3 courses at £30. If you would like to stay on for lunch, please book individually with the Racquet Club telephone 0151 236 6676. A small deposit will be required.
 
Transport - Trains to James Street or Moorfields (Old Hall Street exit)
Buses are a short walk from Queens Square or Liverpool One bus stations. There are also plenty of parking meters in the neighbourhood.
