Dr Huw Lewis Jones was brought up in Dolgellau, North Wales. He was talented in both golf and art and could have followed a career in either but decided to follow Medicine and eventually became Consultant Radiologist at Aintree Hospital.

Upon retirement he redeveloped his interests in golf and in painting in particular; the Welsh artist, Kyffin Williams, is one of his favourites.

Huw is Vice Chairperson and Exhibition Organiser of the Merioneth Arts Society, which holds exhibitions twice yearly. Huw has also held a number of exhibitions of his own.

He has invited us into his home and studio where Huw will share his route in developing this interest in art and his career as an artist. Address details will be confirmed on issue of tickets.
