Helen Legg has been Director of Tate Liverpool since 2018. In addition to running the gallery, she also oversees Tate’s national partnerships programme. Helen is Chair of Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Ltd and is on the board of Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh.
Closed since autumn 2023 Tate Liverpool is undergoing a major transformation to open the ground floor into an inspiring new public gallery, welcoming visitors with art alongside spaces to meet, shop or enjoy a coffee. Changes will make more of the external views of the building, connecting it to the waterfront, make the galleries more accessible for visitors and mean the gallery is able to show larger, more diverse contemporary works from the Tate collection.
The presentation will give an overview of the work undertaken, how the new gallery will look plus a tantalising glimpse of the re-opening exhibitions programme!
The Lever Club is next door to Port Sunlight train station and there is ample free on street parking close to the venue.
